How long does it take?
« on: May 18, 2007, 06:17:33 AM »
How long does it take usually for the checks to get sent out from when the tournament ends? I have some life changing plans with mine, depending on how much I end up making. Thank you!

Well, no one ever answered my question, and now that the tournament is over and the results are somewhat out, I was wondering if anyone knows? Just curious to how long it takes usually? Are all the event monies just added up into one check? Thank you. Big plans! Haha...

Thank you to everyone on their responses, and believe me, all my team mates made sure I understood that I was definitely going to get some tax forms for everything! Haha.

Shipper- I'm sorry. I was just so busy with things at the time, and then when I really could get to it, I didn't feel great enough to put in a true report since it had been so long. I didn't want to falsify anything, since I was going to have to go off complete memory since I hadn't taken any notes. I wanted to give a true and accurate report. I know that it is really late now, haha, but if you would still like one, I will post it? Haha, sorry again!

If your memory is short at your young age just wait another 35-40 years.

As for the tax forms, I am sure someone will respond to this, but when I went to Baton Rouge I found out I couldn't file  to get credit for brackets. They cost me around $140 in extra taxes. But that was because I filed short form then.

Now I kept every receipt and form to have for next years taxes and suggest you do the same for all the money your going to win. I mean with 2037, are we talking around $3-4000?

Well, I guess I have big problems in the future then! I just wanted to give an accurate as could be report. I bowled with my best friend, and this was his third year, and he told me to make sure that I kept all the forms and receipts that I had received for anything while I was in Reno. I am pretty excited, so I kind of summed it all up, and I think I should win an estimate around $3500. I am excited because I have some big plans with it, so we will see. Thanks again.

They go to the team captain, and he is responsible for getting them to the bowlers. In the past, some people have decided to keep them for themselves, so I hope you trust your captain.
