How many bowling balls do you

need to take to Nationals to think you have any chance to compete? 3 seem to be about right, one polished, on dull, and your trusty spare ball.

I usually take 4.  Dull, mid-grit solid reactive, pearl and a spare ball.

I'm with Dan. Almost always it's 4 including a spare ball.

We have a guy in our group that drives every year, makes it easy to bring 6.

I like taking 8 as I will have 3 sanded with different reactions for team and 4 for d&s plus a spare ball. I have no idea who is bowling in front of me and it is easy to wheel in 2 4 ball inlines.
