is there a way that you can get a receipt from brackets if you cant find them, i found my first days bracket receipt but cant find my 2nd day one...

Not that I am aware of. You may just have to take a chance. But unless you won a ton of money, or live nearby, you should have enough expense to offset the gain. The other reason would be if you are using schedule C, but if you haven't been doing that regularly, you might be inviting scrutiny if you claim a loss there.

ok, question time.  This is my first year having to file all this stuff.  As I understand things, I will set myself us as a sole proprietor in order to claim all expenses against my winnings.  However, the 1099 from the usbc lists my winnings in box 3-Prizes & awards, while the pba's 1099 lists my winnings in box 7-non employee income.  What, if anything, is the difference?
