Interesting problem - Buddies or drill at Nationals
« on: April 29, 2015, 10:36:18 PM »
I called today to get a Radical Guru for Nats drilled by Buddiesproshop, my favorite place for drilling. Problem... They are all at Nationals right now and won't be back until Monday... ARGH! That means they'll be at least a week behind after they get back, and with a week ship time, if I'm lucky I'll get the ball 3-4 days before leaving, which means I carry on instead of shipping it. Painful, and no practice with it beforehand. No bueno.
I have had several drilled at Nats and never been happy with the work, but I might be forced into it. To make things worse, I think I heard that Radical is across town at Bowl El Paso... This gets worse and worse....
Anyone know who's drilling for Big B/Dv8/Radical in El Paso?

Why can't you work out a deal for Buddies to ship them to El Paso?

Right Brian, that's what I heard. DV8/Radical is across town at Bowl el Paso I think. No good options for this one...
Milo, I'm just too paranoid to trust that it will be waiting for me at the hotel. Too many bad experiences over the years shipping business materials and stuff ahead to meet me at a client or hotel.
I think I'll just trust Buddies to ship it in time. They've never let me down yet....

Trust buddies reputation and work. I had a ball drilled a nationals a few years ago, never liked it. You could also have the balls shipped to the stadium and bowling ball express.

That's the bottom line, I trust Buddies. BBE charges extra for outside shipments, adn I've had hotels refuse to hold items in advance unless guest was within 24 hours... Timing's a bear.
They'll have a week to work thru backlog... Piece of cake, right?

I'll order it, secure it, carry it.. That's not asking too much for a ball with a 300 game in it.  :)

Have them ship it to where you will be there when it arrives?
