Jasnau coaching session details

Bowling News USA - February 26, 2009
Storm Instructor Mike Jasnau in Las Vegas
Storm instructional staff member Mike Jasnau will be set up in Las Vegas to do video analysis lessons throughout the rest of the USBC Open Championships.  You can find Mike at Gold Coast Bowling Center located in the Gold Coast Hotel and Casino at 4000 W. Flamingo Rd in Las Vegas. Gold Coast is also hosting this years Bowlers Journal tournament sponsored by Storm

Mike, who is a USBC Silver certified coach as well as a PBA Champion, has done over 6000 video analysis lessons. Jasnau has spent his last eleven years coaching at the National Bowling Stadium in Reno. During that time he has helped thousands of bowlers to improve their games, including several Denny’s PBA touring pros as well as many of our own Storm Pro staff members.

To make an appointment to take your game to the next level, you can contact Mike in Las Vegas at 702-782-9087. The 1 hour lesson includes the following:

·         Full video analysis of your game

·         Personalized instruction

·         Tips on how to improve

·         Check rev rate

·         Take home DVD of lesson

The total cost for this complete package is $100. Available video analysis time slots may be limited.

A USBC Open team practice session will also be available at Gold Coast.  The USBC is allowing teams to bowl on a pair of lanes dressed with the USBC Open lane condition for this 1 hour practice session. The lane condition will be run fresh for each session to simulate the condition that you will be facing at the Convention Center. This is a great opportunity for teams to decide on what equipment  to start with as well as the most effective ways to play and break down the pattern. Storm instructor Mike Jasnau will be available during the team practice session to give suggestions and advice. The cost for this team practice session (max 10 bowlers) will be $150. To make a reservation for your team practice session please call Mike at 702-782-9087.

Last year 30% of the teams that finished in the top 125 were teams that took advantage of the team practice session with Mike, including 3 teams in the top 8. Many teams enjoyed their best finishes ever. Your team’s $150 investment could help to get you off the start that you need to have the success that you want!

Riggs,

Thanks for the heads up.
I've been working my group over to take a lesson.
I think i've got enough interest from them to schedule an appointment.

Mike is fantastic, we did a team session with him last year, I didnt learn a lot as mike spent more time with some of the other guys (i had a fantastic look on the practice pair and flushed my front 7) but the advice we got was top notch.  I may go for the one on one lesson this year

I agree. The 10 of us setup an hour last year and worked on breaking down the shot and how to adjust as it transitioned and we did very well in team event. The shot he had was close enough that our plan worked like a charm. Not sure if everyone is up to it again this season but I certainly would go again.

I just setup my group's appointment with Mike.

I'm sure it'll be a good learning experience for all of us.

I did a lesson yesterday and I have to say it was very good. Mikes analysis and tips are very good and I expect to improve with practice. I belive you can not go wrong with this excellent instruction and the video shows your game both good and bad. Also, the lanes are oiled similar to the USBC Open.

I took lessons from him in Jan 06 after I made the AF Team and right before Team USA... I changed a bunch of stuff and took it back to Utah where I grossed the highest single season earnings in the SLC ABT... He's worth every penny IMHO... going to get taped again to compare vids when I go to USBC in July. Hope to fine tune even more things.

I think that it would be best to ask him that because that would vary.  When I called him a few weeks ago to book for this upcoming Tuesday, he had three spots open for that day.  His contact information is in the OP.

WOW...this was a true eye-opening experience. I spent my hour with Jasnau and wished it could've been longer! It was, without a doubt, the best $100 spent during my entire stay at Nationals. His explanations are easy to understand and the video allows me to re-address his points over & over. My only regret is that I live in South Florida, thus thousands of miles from Mike for future lessons. Thanks again Mike for your time!

This is the third year I have seen Mike and all I can say is Thanks.  This year I was fighting some medical issues and was thankful to be able to bowl at all.  Our team missed our high team score by only 14 pins.

Last season in ABQ Mike helped my son and his doubles partner to a 7th place finish with my son shooting 300 in doubles.

The man is a great coach.
