Thanks for the responses so far! I'm hoping there is a shot down and in, because that's definitely where I am most accurate. Despite having a drier house shot and usually having to cover a good part of the lane in both of my leagues, I simply am not accurate enough on sport shots when I find myself covering more than 7 to 8 boards. Coming to Reno from the northeast, I simply don't have the ability to bring an entire collection of balls. I was thinking about bringing 3 balls and a spare ball.
Virtual Gravity: I've got one that's 4 x 4 @ 2000 sanded and another that's 6 1/2 x 5 1/2 @ 4000 sanded. Not sure which one to take... kinda leaning on the one that's drilled weaker because it seems to be much more predictable for me.
Columbia Freeze Red/Blue: Drilled RICO @ 2000 sanded. This ball is my ultimate control ball, definitely what I would consider as my benchmark ball.
Columbia Freeze Black/Red: Drilled 5 1/2 PIN to PAP, with the CG kicked into my palm. This ball thrives on medium light conditions, although I'm not sure if the lanes out there are dry enough for this to actually come into play.
I've know I want to take the RICO Freeze and one of the Virtuals. I've been juggling the idea of replacing the Black/Red Freeze with something a little stronger that gives me a different look, but these are certainly the balls I am most comfortable with... and well, I know that's key when you're going out there.
"So there I was... BALLS DEEP!!!"
