Motiv SR2 at Nationals

Did any one buy a SR2 or other motiv ball and take it to nationals and they say it was too soft?

I had a discussion with a local shop owner and he an old school guy and checks every ball with a durometer and he said all of the motivs he has checked were right at the number or to soft.
