So I got on with a couple of guys for all events.  So now I get to go to my first Nationals Tournament.  I have bowled in the Reno Stadium once last August in a Jr/Adult tournament.

Will all the ball manufactures be there in a booth of some kind?  I heard of some already.  What about Lane#1 or Legends/Lanemasters?  Where do they have the booths?

How does the ball weigh in work.  Do we go back before we check in for an event and have the balls checked?  I have had no real info from the team captains yet, so I really have no idea how it is going to work.

Since I am subbing for people, I am going to get there early anyway.

Bowler,

After each event you take your balls with you.  You can still hit the other events.

Yes you can clean your equipment after completion of whichever event you are bowling.

Have fun!

I wish I had that type of pull. They didn't jump, but when my partner would take a second to reflect on a errant shot, they would grumble and then rush to fling their next ball. We weren't slow bowling either. They were jump hotshot punks.

There were people cleaning their equipment in the waiting room after
everything was weighed in and nobody said a thing. This is prior to bowling
and again, nothing was said ?

Ahh, I am gonna have to get one of those microfiber towels.  I normally just have my regular towel.

I think i am all set clothing wise.  Teal polo and black slacks, then either red or grey polo and black slacks.

Man, I am gonna have a great time.  Hopefully, everyone from here does too.

this is allowable, in fact there is a lusterking machine in the staging room, you can clean you ball prior to your first shot being thrown in an event, then jsut a dry towel for the remainder of that event.  the next day you weigh in again for the other event so once again cleaning is permissible right until you throw that first practice ball
