Started the 8:30 team squad with my scorchin inferno in OOB condition. I had the shot, piping it up 10 with hand and speed. My first game i messed around trying to find some wrinkle for a beauty of a 179. Second game i stayed at 10, if i hit the mark @ 40 feet i could watch my ball walk to the pocket. I carried better the lighter i hit, hit 201. Third game i was in the pocket the whole game. Shot 225 for a 605 series. My first 600 at Nats.
Now doubles and singles i was a little skeptical but i stayed @ 10. I had a good shot untill i started over thinking. I moved 5 boards left slowed my ball down, switched to an Angular one and if i hit the mark @ 40 feet, my ball was flush, but i couldn't do it consistantly, i had lost everything i had thought i found. I shot a humbling 49? in doubles and 46? in singles.Last game in singles i moved back to the scorchin piping it up 10 and shot 192. I wish i would have stayed there the whole time. I really didn't have to move more than 2 boards all night.
I still made 6 bills in team brackets with a 179 to start so it was nice.
The team i was on is in the classified division and we made the leader board. It was very nice to see our name @ #6. I know it will not stay there but it was still nice to see it.
