My first Nationals
« on: March 30, 2013, 09:10:26 PM »
I just returned from Nationals this week. (Thursday). this was my first Nationals tourney that i have participated in. I thought maybe i would be low on the team, especially not knowing the lane conditions before. but to my surprise i shot 650 for team, 580 doubles, 569 singles, 1799 overall, which i was told is not too bad for the first time.  I have been bowling for a lot of years, so i am not new to this game. I played the outside up around 7-9 board, i am an "old school" stroker that's speed dominate. so in order for me to compensate i had to really slow down which felt really weird at first. but had a good look if i didn't pull/push my shot. Also the cool thing about this was that i was able to bowl with my son, which i hadn't seen in over a year, because we live in different states. So it was enjoyable none the less, i was glad i went. so now i am looking forward to maybe next year.

That is very good, especially for your first one.  Every year will play a little different, except that we know it will be a challenge.  Nice shooting.

Thanks Lane....and I did my team score with my C-System "Maxxed out" that ball was working nice off the corner.
