Anyone know if they check hardness and side and top weight.

I don't think they check hardness but they most definitely check all static weights.

Yes they check for hardness and all static weights before you bowl team event. The used to check before doubles and singles also until this year.

They have not checked hardness for years.  Only balls you have to check for minors are those you did NOT check for team.  And it's on the honor system.

just wondering because i have heard some of the Motiv ball were soft when they first came out.
