Nationals result update..........
« on: June 13, 2006, 09:52:20 AM »
Well, bad 1st day of team. 1st game shoot 190 with 2 opens (easy spares) and then 181 with back to back light 7-10's in the 9th and 10th, and then a whopping 187 with 1 split and whiffed 10 pin. Played way inside by starting crossing arrows at 20 out to 10 and ended 6th arrow to 15. Seemed like the deeper I moved the harder it hooked today. Did finally move back right and use the straight up 10 for the 10th of the 3rd game and doubled and flat 10 pin. Kind of lost as to my next move but I did do well in the brackets and my team was high for our squad with a whopping 2796......lol

Well, just got home from the annual event. Enjoyed meeting KingCranker and Bolt298 and the guys. Doubles end up with 583 after going 211, 202, and a whopping 170 (Treied to play the outside and it went to hell in a hurry. Tey (Bolt298) held us up with a 646 so we end up 1229 for doubles I belive. Moved and pair for singles and took out the new Roto-Grip Horizon that I had never thrown and moved inside around 23-28 during adjustments and played the deep line and carried ok but not many breaks for mistakes. Shoot 236,202,205...642. Oh well, it was fun. Better luck next year huh? lol

Not bad shooting Charles, Sorry i couldn't meet up with you guys, got real busy that weekend, even though i was supposed to come up to the bank center Saturday and Sunday, just got hung up.

Nice set though all in all.

Looks like in the money for everything so that's not too disappointing. Making the right move would have made me a little happier and scores higher but it was a blast as i had the family with me and was there for about a week. Sorry we couldn't meet up either Troyboy, but there's always next time.

You may not think so, but that was above average(great) shooting for Nationals, my man! Way to go!

I see you have a variety of hi-performance balls in your profile. Which pieces did you use... with what layout?

I can only pray that I do half as well on my trip down there!
Some days you're the bug....some days you're the windshield...that's bowling!

Thanks for the kind words!! For team I used my Morich Weapon of Mass Bias II drilled pin beside the ring ginger and Cg out with a weight hole polished to 1500 grit as posted above. In doubles, I tried to move outside with my Morich Ravage polished to 2000 with less hand around 13 to 9. Had my most success with my new Roto-Grip Horizon (Thanks to jkiser01) drilled pin over between fingers and Cg out polished to 2000 deep inside with Trey (Bolt298) around 25 working into around 30 before set was out. Definately didn't need the heavy oil stuff for doubles and singles.
