Phoneman, I agree with not taking kids to Vegas, my brother has two kids under 5 and they aren't coming, but I brought up that point because another poster talked about his grand daughter coming to watch. More and more people are in fact bringing children to Vegas, whether for the tournament or just for vacation, and there are worse things to have to explain than what a gentleman's club is.
The club has nothing to do with bowling. But when I go to the Chicago Auto Show, what does the "Super Food Dehydrator" or Ginsu Knives have to with cars? Again, nothing. The people in those booths know that people attending the auto show are also in their target audience and are likely to buy the product. It's all about advertising. I can't remember what it was, but there were at least 2 booths last year that had zero to do with bowling or souveniers and I don't remember anyone ever complaining. There's a five page complaint post about this same subject on Bowl.com.
Everybody is desperate in this economy, the USBC needs to generate revenue to help pay for the tournament and pay for other programs they run. I think all the people complaining need to look at it as a business decision, not some moral/integrity question.

It IS next year!
