Another team cracked 3500 this weekend with a 3521.  I watched Gaines team throw their 3rd game in the 3538 set.  This might be the best condition I have seen at nationals for good high rev players.  I was talking to a friend of mine who works the booths, and he was betting me the 3538 wouldn't hold up.  I disagreed, but he may be right. 

From what I have seen on the webcasts that I went back and watched, the shot is not easy by any means. But with 10 people working together and breaking them down correctly, you can turn it into a much easier pattern. Plus with the new Ice oil holding up better, you don't see the breakdown of the shot and once you create a good look, it stays much longer. Teams that work together and execute well, will score well. Teams that don't, won't. Same as last year and the year's before. Will someone break the new record.....I say it is possible. Teams like Linds Lakers, Turbo 2-n-1 (now 11thFrame.com I think), and some others have the talent/skill and the gameplans to put the record within reach, but it will take everything falling into place from Game 1, Frame 1 and a little luck to make that happen.
