Now all somebody has to do is tell me where to play....sounds easy right!!!!

I gotta start saving the previous years shots to compare years....from what i can tell, its a 4:1 ratio shot with a medium amount of volume 22mL  i believe my house shot is 16-18 and the sport shot we have is 26 so its at least medium for me

I wanna say the pattern was a little shorter last year BUT i am prolly wrong lol

I believe last year was a touch shorter, maybe a foot or two at the most.  The ratios look similar, and the load outside looks the same.

I would guess that out will play again.

Medium? maybe not, if I played 4th arrow and deeper with a Visionary Blue/Green Centaur. Wasn't last year's 26 ml, per lane? I could be wrong.

This is a LIGHT oil amount. But the lanes being the Reno Bowling Stadium and a Lefty's Paradise, who knows until we see some results.

It looks as if this pattern seems like it will play easier than last year.  They must want scores to be higher, because this doesn't seem as flat as usual for a Open pattern.  The only other explanation I could imagine is that they are taking into the account the lane surface at the stadium, and taking that as a relatively bad scoring environment as it is.

There was supposed to be a pretty substantial renovation since the last time we were there, and I believe one of the items on the list was new lanes.  So all the old notions of how the lanes played, i.e. Lefty paradise, should go out the window

Well then Dan, you must have not watched the PBA show when it was in Reno.  Couch and Allen make the show, Allen wins, and almost every lefty in the field made match-play.  Renovation didn't seem to work too well.

Last year wasn't quite a long.. I don't remember exact, but I thought it was 36' or 37'?  I would think a 40' pattern wouldn't play as far outside...

As a wise friend of mine said recently, "You can take the lanes out of the stadium, but you can't take the stadium out of the lanes."
