well we arrived thursday afternoon in new mexico, nothing to special really. trying to make it a cheap trip and not do all the site seeing and what not so nothing special in my report. me and bowler0821 (mike marchak) went and bowled the roto challenge around 9 we both cashed he had 415 i had 418, really nice shot. all i can say is you def do not need to hit the ball to get it to return. it hooks.
friday we went and bowled the 40 framer which is always fun, made 11 bucks with pay days and wut not, had like 970something or 960 not sure. it HOOKS lol. one of our guys shot 1080 so he should cash. then we went and all 5 of us did the roto again, i had a really good luck just couldnt get any breaks, 190 190 or something like that and mike had 402 (low to cash i think) an one of our guys had 419 so he will def get some money back. again i cant stress enough how much you need to just let the ball off your hand and let it do its own thing on this pattern.
we bowl the team event today at 2:30, hopefully we bowl well and make some money. ill report back later...
OH YEA, ive got a cell, bite, gamebreaker, red and blue vibe, and kenetic here with me.
alright just got done with the 2:30 team, 1017, 1023, 983 for a 3023...GREAT BOWLING for us. bowler0821 lead the way with 662 making about 750 in brakcets, i had 624 with a 183 first game and i made 400 in brackets. the whole team bowled well. i used my gamebreaker at 1000 the whole time standing 25-28 playing 16-10 and just stayed soft on the release and just wacked em....the 183 i grabbed it in the tenth and threw the big 4 costing me 200...oh well good set all in all.
bowl 7:00 am doubles and singles tomorrw so hopefully it goes well
alright, doubles and singles...ROUGH, couldnt get anything going really at all in doubles. bowled fresh this morning 178 167 173. felt like i threw it well but throw in a few splits and couple easy missed spares (little to early lol) and there ya go. then singles we moved to a pair where no one bowled so once again fresh, little better this time, 172, 220, 18o something. i finished 17 something averagin 190 for the tourney. so i improved from last year and for only bowling 4-5 times since the middle of may ( i play too much golf in the summer) i am happy with the results and averaging 190 was not too bad to me.
all in all it was a great experience, im glad its over, taking a few months off of bowling now which is going to be great and then ill be back once fall leagues start up.
CANT WAIT FOR VEGAS BABY!!!
