Team pics are mandatory this year.
Make sure you get all your team members in early.
Our team squad had 20 minutes to shoot 40 teams.

The USBC needs a BIGGER squad room, really crowded with all the equipment.

yes it was, next year they prolly will require fingerprints lol, their reasoning for team pics being mandatory sucked

They want visual proof that you bowled.  So, say in 30 years, you know you're coming up for an appearance award, but their records say you didn't bowl in 2009, you can have them sort through the old pictures and prove you were there.

My understanding is you do not have to purchase them, just have them taken.

You don't.  We've always purchased pictures, but that's in part because it's been me, my dad and brother for the past 5 years, so it's almost like a family portrait.  But it's just like in years past, one person can buy, all can buy, but they don't force you to.
