If that's the case, then one time I had identical bowling balls, one with the cover sanded with 1000 grit for 40 seconds, the other sanded the same but for 30 seconds.  I didn't notice a difference in reaction, thereby proving that cover does not matter to ball reaction.  Indeed, due to the CG discussion, and deadbait's posts declaring that pin and MB have no effect, it reasons that neither cover nor core have ANY influence on a ball's motion.  That leads me to believe that axis tilt, rotation, rpm rates and all that mumbo jumbo is false as well and everything reacts the same, we just convince ourselves that different balls react differently due to a placebo effect.  So, you can feel free to use that info and make a post about it in the misc. section since that seems to be your game...

Charlest,  I'll help you make trouble.  I believe that bowlers should insist that the name be changed back to the ABC Tournament.  When the debate over forming USBC was ongoing, bowlers were promised that the ABC Tournament would always be the same.  Then, based on their consultants recommendation, the folks in Greendale decided that they needed to change the name because of "branding" issues.  That just confirmed for me that I could not trust the people running USBC because IMO they're only in it for the money.
