thanks for the current events (on this and many other issues) - they help those of us who need a reasonable source of current / accurate information.
I agree with their statement that the timing is not right - with the "backlash" from holding the tournament in Reno again and again, the USBC would likely stand to lose more money by pushing the cost to $200. I am lucky enough where it does not affect me, but a 33% jump is staggerring in this economy.

My guess is that they ran this up the flag pole and nobody saluted. Suspect that in most of the reactions bowlers were probably ready to burn the USBC Open flag.
