USBC Nationals Lane Conditions
« on: April 17, 2007, 05:14:13 PM »
I see that the pattern requires the pump to be calibrated at 50 ml streams?  Does anyone know if you can alter the pattern to make it play similar without adjusting the pump output on the K+ transfer brush machine?  How easy is it to alter the pump settings and return them to normal (ours is set to 40 ml/board)?  I don't really want to try it but I want to get a semi accurate simulation of the pattern before I go out there so I know what to take with me..  I know the pattern will not play the same, but I found it to be VERY similar last year when I tried it and performed on it at Corpus...

It's easy to change the output to 50ml,when you run the oil volume test it needs to put out 20 ml instead of the 16ml.You may want to make a small mark on the dial so its easier to change back.

That is what I was thinking, thank you...

I think the dial is set directly on 0 right now, so it should be easy to change back..

The dial on the machine I use was set on 0 for 40ul/board. Turning it to 3.1 made the 50ul/board stream.
