Has anyone been there yet? I'm going this Saturday and was wondering what the lanes were like.

Probably too late for you, but here goes.....The Palace, for S & D, is playable, very tight line at the onset. Eastland lanes, for the team event, is a little more wide open (at least my pair was). Eastland is strange, the ball rack is to close to the ground, and the hand blower fans barely work. Also, the approaches are set down from the concourse, so it's a bit of an odd experience, but it shouldn't bother you.
The lefties have a definite advantage IMHO, they get to play their comfort zone/track like in league, but carry is not the best. Righties can score, but the track is out of play for several games. When I went down, Trisha Reid & Shannon Pluhowsky, two top female bowlers (& lefties), were in the top 5 for all events. Haven't looked at a leader board since (I basically stunk, all my fault for crap execution). Good luck.
