Caution:
At Nationals, there seems to be more occasions where people behind the counter feel the pressure of the situation. They work long hours and after 4 months of this, any one of even very good to great drillers can easily have an off day in both attitude and performance. While you can certainly blame them, this is a long and difficult situation and not every one handles it with grace and dignity for such a long stretch of continuous pressure.
I'd suggest if you insist on doing this (as someone already pointed out it is not good time to be doing this), try doing it about an hour after they open and if possible, a day after they have had a day off.
FYI Thomas "Beans" at the Lane#1 booth ain't too shabby a driller, nor is Frankie May, if you can get him to shut up for 30 seconds
. Kent (& Lori) Wagner at the Lanemasters booth is a very good driller also.
