Who's used the shipping service, how pleased were you and how much did it cost?
Thanks

I used it for the first time last year.  The shipping cost wasn't the real expense it was the handling fees that they hit you up with later.

However, I will utilize the service again this year as it's a heck of alot easier than trying to take them all with you.

Only piece of advice would be to pack the balls well (I utilize the ball pouches that come with Dynothane equipment, but a buff-a-ball would work too) and place them into tote bags which go into the overshipper.  That way you don't have to even take the empty bags with you...just open up your box and get walking.

The prices are very reasonable. It makes everything hassle free.
I agree what Goof1073 said. Take a 4 ball box, put two, two ball totes and your
supplies in the box and tape the crap out of it. I'd say bring your shoes with you in your luggage just incase there is a delay in shipping.

Also good advice John...

...don't ship your shoes or other personal gear with the balls.

using the usbc site is very confusing, especially if you are bowling on a saturday or sunday.  i have never been able to figure out how to tailor the arrival date for a weekend.  shipping back home however is very easy.  just take it to the booth at the center, fill out forms, pay fee and done.

I have used it the last two years and I will use it again this year.  It's not particulary cheap but it's not that expensive either.  It saves a lot of airport hassle and the USBC staff is absolutely great about getting your stuff when you arrive and helping you pack it up and ship it back home when you finish.  I bowl on a Sunday and a Monday.  I ship the stuff so it arrives on Thursday.

Thanks for the advice. Can some of you list some actual prices you paid?

If I recall I paid $23 dollars on the way out and $38 on the way back.
Took like 5 days to get out there and the same on the way back.

Makes airline travel much easier.

If it doesn't have DT or RG stamped on it.
Just leave it in the bag.
free agency it is until i get a better offer.   LMAO

Tryin bowling.com, they have free shipping on everything I believe.  They will probably be cheaper in the long run.

This for shipping balls to the tournament, not for purchasing new equipment.

What I have been doing is shipping FedEx out to the tournament and UPS back home. So try FedEX and see what the price is.. I paid $38 going last year to Texas and $41 going back with UPS...9
