2009 Super Bud Bowl, Oswego N.Y.
« on: January 17, 2009, 03:30:34 PM »
Lighthouse Lanes Oswego N.Y. runs a tournament in early March and I was wondering if anyone here has ever bowled in it or heard of it.  Had a friend tell me they lay out "reverse block" for this event.  Any tips how to tackle this if I tried to go.  Any special drillings or ball finish that might work better than another.

Thanks.

I always did okay playing up the boards with something weak, but I normally play pretty straight.

Shoot plastic at all your spares or you will miss tons.

I've bowled on the reverse block twice, first time I used a Tropical Storm, 2nd time an old beat up Super Beast.

I have bowled in it a couple of times and believe me it is not an easy pattern. You bowl 4 games and each time you move they get worse.Like spider said....you have to play the outside with something weak. It's about the same type of shot that they put out for the Post-Standard Masters.
