Welcome to Baton Rouge
« on: January 26, 2005, 12:30:05 PM »
Hello Everybody. I just wanted to send out an advance welcome
to everyone traveling here for the tournament. Should you have
any questions about Baton Rouge and the area, fire away. I'll
answer everything as best I can. I don't get to log on here
everyday, so if there is a delay in answering a question, I apologize.
Hard to believe that it starts in just a couple of weeks.

I wish everyone a safe trip and I hope that you enjoy our
city.

Rev is right on. The New Orleans Airport is just a little over an hour
from the bowling arena. Depending on traffic, of course.
You will probably have alot more options with the N.O.
airport.

Hey Scooter, where are the good bars? (and I don't mean strip clubs, although I'm sure some of the br guys would like info on that).  I'm talking about fun sports bars, places with good jukeboxes, cute girls, etc.

I'm staying at the Holiday Inn express, which I assume (although I could be wrong since I didn't make the reservations) is reasonably close to the the convention center.

You rock, I'm gonna have to print those off before I get down there.  That should give me a good start towards destroying my liver in yet another state of the union.
