Just wanted to let everyone know that they are starting construction on I-40 in the Louisiana area both directions. If your hotel is in the Uptown area on Hotel Circle, you may run into traffic problems. This is on the East side of Albuquerque. I will update this post as construction gets worse and lane closers start to happen.

Yes, Albuquerque drivers do not know the meaning of defensive driving. It is offensive driving to the max. Beware merging onto the freeway. They do not like to let people in. But they expect you to let them in even if there is no one behind you for 10 miles.
