What to do when not bowling
« on: January 26, 2006, 03:51:22 PM »
I know we have some locals, or semi locals on here.  This will be my first trip to Corpus Christi, when my dad went the last time he said there wasn't much to do when you weren't bowling.  I've heard things have been built up since then.  Any locals want to share?  What are the good restaurants, bars, sites that need to be seen?  I'm sure some of the bowlers would like to know about any "adult" entertainment in the area.

IRC, Corpus still has a dog track.  I found the dogs to be more entertaining than a trip to the horse tracks elsewhere.

Been there already.  Kinda hoping for some first hand experiences/recommendations.  For instance, I don't think I would have eaten at TJ's ribs last year had someone not posted saying what a great place it was (and they were right)
