Where are you going to stay in VEGAS?
« on: July 22, 2008, 11:30:43 AM »
Just wondering where everyone was going to try to stay in Vegas this year.  I'm looking somewhere on the strip at a decent price.

I'll be skipping Vegas.  Where's Nationals at the next few years?  I bowled Reno in 04 (?) and Baton Rouge in 05 (?) I forget the years.

I am thinking we will stay downtown to be closer to the cashman center.  Staying on the Strip will be a pain to get to Cashman and the rooms are usally cheaper downtown.

My brother and I get comped rooms in Harrah's owned casino's. We will be staying at the Flamingo Hilton next year. It should be a fun trip. The convention center is closer to downtown though. We will be renting a car for this one.

Fitzgerald's, Sams Town, Binion's, Boulder Station all comped.  Trust me I've paid for them already.

If you don't have anything comped or any deals, consider renting a house. Get the team to all pitch in and it will compare favorably to hotel prices and be way nicer.

Ding ding ding.

We did this in Albuquerque and are looking to do it again for Vegas.  I want to stay on the strip for a night or two, but I'll take the rental for most of the time out there.
