Working with Jasnau
« on: May 19, 2008, 07:52:38 AM »
I have a question for those of you who did the individual hour lessons with Mike Jasnau this year. One of my debates with myself is around what surface to put on my one Cell. During the individual lessons, are you bowling on the same USBC shot that he has out for the team lessons? Does he offer advice on coverstock prep during the session, either as part of it or if you ask?

This may solve my problem as I may wait till get out there and make any surface adjustments after my lesson with Mike. I appreciate everyone's feedback.

You are bowling on the same shot and surface as nationals.  The only difference is the track area at the house as the lanes have way more games on them as compared to the convention center.  Yes he will help you out with selecting surface preps and what not.  Our group did the team practice with him and he was very helpful.

Can anyone tell me how I would go about signing up for it?  Is it something you can do when you get there, or do you have to do it in advance.  Thanks

Folks in our group signed up for their individual lessons while we were taking part in our group practive session with him.  The group session was booked ahead of time / prior to us leaving:

505-304-0984 and speak with Mike directly to secure your spot.  The total cost for this complete package is $100. Available video analysis time slots may be limited.

Here is the group info:  In addition, a USBC Open team practice session will also be available at Holiday Bowl. The USBC is allowing teams to bowl on a pair of lanes dressed with the USBC Open lane condition for this 1 hour practice session. The lane condition will be run fresh for each session to simulate the condition that you will be facing at the Convention Center. This is a great opportunity for teams to decide on what equipment and surface to start with as well as the most effective ways to play and break down the pattern. Storm instructor Mike Jasnau will be available during the team practice session to give suggestions and advice. The cost for this team practice session will be $150, just $30 per person.
