The Twilight Blue Warlock is an aggressive reactive with a dual density core created for an earlier arc to the pocket. The shell is composed of HPTRU (High Pressure Technology Reactive Urethane) developed to create a more solid shell for maximum impact and better grabbing action on the lane. had this ball for a few months now, and even though it is an older visionary ball it still is first out of the bag. the ball has a 3" pin and 2.75oz top weight. put the pin 2.75" from pap and cg basiclly on grip line. left the cover in out of box condition. the ball got into an early roll and made a smooth hard arc to the pin deck. like every other visionary ball i have thrown it had a hard hit on the pins. was able to play deep with this ball and get it to hit. i'm sorry i did not get another before they discontinued it, so if you can get your hands on one, do so

what a controlable ball its amazing.what a shame its discontinued. i got this one of of there web site as a disontinued ball. lats nite i used it on a med oil house shot and had most of the lane to use. this ball hits like a brick going through glass it hits hard. the best thing i liked about it was it was not a giant or snap hook it was a smooth arching movement.great control and dirt cheap its hard to beat this combo thanks visionary.

I just got this ball drilled today after getting it in a trade.I think i might get away from all the big companies and go with the smaller ones.this ball even though its aorund 5 years old is AWESOME.this balls carry is amazing.At first it sounded like a cream puff for like the first 2 frames after that this thing sounds like a freight train going 100 mph through a brick wall.Im not kidding.I left not one solid 7 pin i only left the 7 pin on a light hit.Everything else carried.Light hits it mixed the pins around, flush it carried and high it blew the rack apart.I LOVE THIS BALL.MY proshop lady just drilled it over the label because she didnt know much about visionary but this thing still hooks.I cant say how much i love it.If i could get my hands on any other visionary product i would.I think i might go all visionary and mo-rich.

was able to pick up a blem 15.3lbs 3.60 top weight. this is proving to be my sons favorite ball. that is really saying something considering he bowls with a scorcher, char. executioner, and a green gargoyle. this ball seems to match the houses lane conditions which seem to be consistently inconsistent, with a long sport pattern to desert depending on when you bowl. we drilled this one for length, stacked, and it does just that, rolls to the breakpt. and hits like a brick. if you have the opt. to find one of these, don't pass it up esp. for a young developing bowler.

this has to be the best inconsistent ball i have! lol.

Fresh oiled lanes attract this thing like a magnet, but with a little carrydown(2-3 games) it loses its edge.

bak to the good. when i fist pull it out, i can play the whole lane with TREMENDOUS backend, and hits, well like a 15 lb bowling ball, but it is very good
found mine at a YABA donation table... im glad i picked it up, you should do likewise if you can get your hands on one

I bought this ball from visionary's web page, it was discontinued.  I used it on a very dry crappy wood lane house and it was doing u turns on me.  So i polished it up and still it hooked way too much.  I put away the ball for a while and started to bowl league on a synthetic medium oiled house shot.  With the ball polished it works miracles on this shot.  This ball is also very versatile.  A variety of shots can be conqured by just adjusting the coverstock.
Would fit in to anyones arsenal.  Visionary creates balls that have qaulity and power.

I have two warlocks drilled differently.  The first I've used in two very different houses: #1 is very dry, and #2 is as wet as I've bowled.  I've also used the full spectrum of surfaces on my primary warlock.  In house #1 I've used it at 4000 polished playing 13 at the arrows out to 8 to great success, but I've also taken it down to 500 polished/2000 (I can't decide which of those surfaces works best) and played 4th arrow.  In house #2 I've used it at 500 matte playing straight up 9, to just as much success (by success in these cases, I mean topping out in the 250s and averaging around 205).  I have it drilled pin down, and it makes a very smooth arc to the pocket.  Things I love about this ball: it very rarely sees friction in the front, is responsive to different releases and surface preparation, and doesn't overhook on me (I have medium-slow speed and a high rev rate, so that can be a real issue).

 

The second warlock is stacked leverage with a voodoo full roller layout (the pin is waaaaaaaaaaaaay out).  I've only used this OOB (600 matte finish).  In house #1 I'm a full arrow left of the other one because it will pick up QUICKLY to the friction and make a hard left.  In house #2 I usually start 3-5 boards to the left at the arrows and throw it towards the edge because I know it's coming back hard.  Things I love about this drilling: it doesn't lolligag on it's way into the pocket.  It drives fast and hard into the pins.  On the other hand, because this ball is so responsive to friction, it requires more adjustments to the friction that develops in the front.  I usually end up adjusting left for a couple boards, and then resorting to loft so I don't get too much angle in the front.

 

The blue warlock is my absolute favorite bowling ball I've ever owned, and if you can find one you should add it to your bag.  :)
