First off, I would like to thank Betsy and everyone one at Visionary for their help. Since I've decided to pass up on bowling PBA events I recently came back to Visionary because I liked their lineup and the extraordinary carry the have. I have bowled a couple of tournaments lately and was very pleased.

First tourney was the first weekend in september and avg'd 230.7 for 6 games with my Violet Gargoyle and Bronze Centaur finishing 8th. I was still getting used to my thumb inserts from Grip-Loc and was having a few release problems at my ten pins as I proceeded to whiff 2-3 tens on the day, but overall a good start of the year.

I figured out my hang problem!!!!! I had a little too sharp of a bevel at the top of the thumb causing me to hang up when I changed my hand position for my ten pin. Prpblem solved!

The tournament yesterday really makes me feel like this tournament season will big a good one.

This was an 8 gamer on an outside shot with a moderate amount of oil and medium backends. The tournament director was trying to put out a different shot than the THS and I think it bit him in the axx!

Game 1-203 started with my Violet and was getting an over/under the whole game with a couple of washouts. Switched in the 9th to my Green/Blue Centaur drilled 25 Degree polished and took a 6 board jump right and proceed to go off the sheet  for 203. Then all hell broke loose:

244, 243, 300, 267-(front 9 then whiffed a ten!), 279-(solid 9 in the 8th ), 264,& 194-couldn't overtake the leader the last game so I played with different equipment to see what else I would go to If I ran into trouble.

Ended up 394 over (249.25 avg.), qualified second and I never had to move but 2-3 boards after I switched but was beat out by the leader who tossed the front 8 at me to win. The 300 was my first of the season and the 846 is my new high series!
