I am getting one of these fully plugged already, in a trade with Doug Sterner. Any info I should know about for this ball? Any type of drillings it "does or doesnt like"? And what kind of reaction does it have? Im gonna polish it up for my light oil ball. Im not sure how to drill it though, will it go long and snap if I put the pin say, over the bridge, or maybe over the ring? Is it even a snappy ball? Well just give me your opinions on it please.

Well I want it to be flippy. But will it be too strong for "light" oil lanes? I plan on polishing it so, I think that will help get it farther down the lane also. Put it this way, it will be alot less ball then the Triple X right? Cuz right now, I stand anywhere from 40 to 47 to throw that ball. I do have weaker stuff, but I either dont like the reaction of it, or theres a gap, where the Triple X is too strong and my other stuff is too weak.

I was gonna try pin over bridge, cg stacked straight below. Never had this drilling, kind of curious what it'll do.

with a three inch pin, since you are a higher rev player, a pin over the bridge should work just fine for what you are looking for. it should make the ball just weak enough, but still provide plenty of snap due to the stacked drilling, assuming your pap is in a normal position. the ball will definately need some dry in the backends, but should work for what your using it.

i have a flashpoint drilled with the pin a quarter inch right of above my bridge (5 inches from my pap) with the cg in the grip center (5.5 inches from my pap) and this ball can be used on lighter conditions but really is better on mediums with fresh backends. the green gargoyle has a much higher rg, and a little lower diff., and a weaker coverstock, so it should definately work for what you are looking for.

         My Green Gargoyle has a stacked drilling with the pin aside of and  below my ring finger. Frankie May drilled it for me, and under the right conditions, this ball is unbeatable. Those conditions are: Light oil, with clean back ends. I don't like the reaction that I get on extremely dry lanes. The ball will work well on dry lanes, but not the desert. I also have to put the ball away if I run into carrydown. On this condition, the ball skids a bit too much. I like the ball, but in my opinion, you have to know when to throw it, and also when to stop throwing it, but you have to do so much sooner than some other balls.

I was actually thinking of having Frankie May drill this ball, beacuse my pro shop is very expensive, and his shop is only about 45 mins away. I think it would be worth the hike.

The Greenie doesn't like either ends of the spectrum, too much oil or too much dry.  Even on drier lanes it will go a long distance because of it's 1500 grit polished pearl cover, but it also has the ability to be wicked on the backend.  

You might even be able to use it on a fresh shot that has been oiled short, given you have a strong enough hand to get it to turn the corner.  If you can and do, the Green Gargoyle will be pretty angular since it will skid for days.  I'm not saying this is a bad or good idea, but just a different look to prevent multi ball changes and such.  

I had the most success with it on a broken down shot more towards the light oil area.  I would send the ball out and it would recover nicely.  The ball hits and carries well, as all Visionary equipment does.

Oh and your drilling would be similar to mine which will promote long length and a pretty big backend movement.  It is better suited for lighter oil unless you can crank it up.

ON EDIT:  My drilling is the same as Pops...and it does what he says it will...but you might be able to get it to turn in carrydown if you belly the ball earlier in the dry.  (I can)
