Has anyone had the opportunity to throw one of these yet? I'm curious to see how it will handle the soup.

I'm with you pro, I'm dying to here what this thing has got.  Really would like to here some comparisons to the Scorcher and the Granite.  Have a couple of ideas as to how I want it drilled but have been holding off until I can see some feedback.

Been hawking a few sights and no one bowling with this ball has posted any real reviews yet.

I just got one of these and took it out today.
Unfortunately the lanes were a toased reverse block and hadn't been oiled in almost 24 hours.  I do know that this is no short or even medium oil ball( might need some polish).  I left many single pin pocket hits, and the ball was clearly rolling out.  The hit was very crisp and loud though.  I will try this ball again tomorrow night in my league when the oil is fresh.  Mine is drilled with some type of leverage layout and left in box condition.  The role on this ball strongly reminds me of the role of my black scorcher.  I will take my scorcher, granite, blue grypon and burgondy out Sunday to a house that has some decent oil and a little more of a standard block and post again .

I still have my own tester sitting on my shelf at my proshop and my other tester still hasn't drilled his. we are both seeing a lack of oil in the summer so this ball might be boxed for a while. but it definitaly looks like it's gonna hook.

I am having mine drilled up this week for monday night. it's sport shot with some oil. I will have a good comparison compared to the granite and purple ice.

I will post a mini review of the ball next tuesday. I plan on drilling it like this. pin under ring and cg kicked out to pap with 1/2oz thumb. my granite read the lanes to late. I looking to get a midlane read on this heaver oil condition.

OK...  The Burgondy didn't work too well last night out of it's condition.
Tonight I used it on fresh lanes.  This thing was awsome!!! It just kept getting better as the night went on.  I shot games of 224-244-278 for a 746.  Keep in mind that the house I shot it in was one of the tougher public houses in the area.
I only left one 10 pin all night.(yes.... I made it).  This is not a strong snapping ball at all.  It roles almost like a urethane, but as long as there is some oil in the mid lane, and at least a weak bock to help it make the turn, this ball is outstanding.  I hope the coverstock stands the test of time.  I am noticing a fair anount of tracking on the ball and I only have about 10 games on it.
I will post again in a couple of weeks and enter it into the reviews section for this ball.

Good post Richlynn!  That is the kind of info I'm looking for.  Now let me bug you for a few specifics...

How do you have this ball laid out?

What would you call your style?  Stroker, Cranker etc.

OK, I'm not really good with layouts, but here it goes.

First of all, it is about a 1-2 inch pin with the CG centered in the palm area directly over the serial number.  This is what the ball looked like before drilling.

The ball was tilted to about a 2 o'clock drilling with the ring finger hole (turbo grip) covering about 3/4 of the pin.  This places the cg about 1 1/2 inches to the right and half way between the fingers and thumb hole.  The ball then has a 1/2 inch weight hole that is about 1 3/4 inches deep.

I am a fairly smooth stroker ( this doesn't mean I don't hit the ball)  with my track about 1 inch from the thumb. I usually play between the 7 and the 17 board but can go further in or out if I need to. I throw the ball  about 16.5-17.5 mph.
