I bought a charcol executioner a while ago and got great advice from here on what to do with it. Only problem was the ball never really did work on the house conditions in my area. i was about to give up on it until I tried it at knoxville. I have now realalized that it is a tournament ball for sure. I am thinking about geting a purple ice, and a crimson, and maybe another charcol.

I was wondering what kind of drilling were working for everyone. this is not a style specific question, just looking to see what may work. Mycharcol is drilled label leverage right now, and I am thinking about doing the same with the purple ice, then maybe doing stacked on the crimson. the other charcol is going to get drilled just like my T2 to see if I have found a replacement.

the purple ice ia tricky ball. it has low flair and a shell that grabs the lane quickly. if you polish it it gets sensitive to release. The best setup I have found with it it. a 75 degree layout pin even with ring 4inches from pap. or 4x4 or 12:00 however you like to measure. it produces about 2 to 3 inches of flair for me.

This ball handles light oil heads and some carrydown. Belive visionary when the say it's a sport condition ball. on med oil it play's striaghter and less oil you can swing it.

don't get me wrong. the ball hits hard and is as versatile. you have to just play the ball the way it likes for each lane condition. On one condition it will out hook you medium heavy oil ball and on another condition it will hook less than you week reactive. So far sport shots and broken down second shift league play are it strengths.

Crimson x . I had mine drilled stacked leverage. 3-3/8 pin( lot's of flair). This ball carry is great but I found it to be a good burnt head w/carrydown(light) ball. It rocked for me on used (but not abused) lanes. however on fresh oil the ball skidded and jumped HARD. on the other hand My teammate has one drilled label and he can play the oil line all night( slow with some forward revs)

Hmmm the way you talk about the crimson reminds me of my Rhino X (same core as the T2) it was drilled stack leverage, and did the same thing. The cores, of those two rhino's and the excecutioner's are very similar.

I will definately do the leverage on the crimson, but I need to do a little more reading for the purple ice.
