A solid and particle version appear to have been approved earlier this year.

The information on the Frankie May ball will be out soon...although I'm not allowed to comment on the ball I will let you know that it utilizing a Gryphon II core with a new coverstock.

It looks great and very excited about the others as well.  The reason for the production is because of the SPEC changes USBC is enforcing on the Differential...Visionary wanted to get some in there in case the lowering of the differential rating was below what these balls were designed at....thus fitting into the "Grandfather" clause.

The release dates are coming soon...keep an eye on the website homepage for that information.  I'm looking forward to them also.

Pardon my ignorance, but who is Frankie May?  Does he work for Visionary?

I would hate to call anyone "ignorant".  But for those of you who don't know Frankie May, he was originally known as "Mr. Hammer" and upon the selling of the Hammer name, stayed with the owners who also owned Visionary Bowling Products.

To find out more on who he is...checkout his website.

http://www.frankiemay.com

Him and his son own a proshop in Reading, PA as well.

He's the real deal...and if you are going to National's you'll find him at the Visionary booth.

Frankie is a great guy. Met him when he was working the Hammer booth a few years ago. Sold my friend 2 Sledge hammers. My buddy said he had never had a ball feel that good after Frankie was done drilling it for him.
Had a nice talk with him last year in Reno at the Visionary booth. Not too many people are as accommodating, no matter whose equipment you are using. Had Frankie take a look at my equipment for his input and have adjusted it for this year in Baton Rouge. Going all Visionary, just got the last piece of the puzzle, AMB Centaur.
