If you have some hand in the ball, I would suggest the Solid simply because you are having trouble with carrydown.  I think the pearl could still be squirty on the carrydown and could use the help of the Solid.

Steve,

you have much more experience than I with the Immortal solid, but with Pepsi's speed (in his profile), I'd worry about the drilling because of it's HUGE amount of flare. Wouldn't the AMB Centaur solid be a safe bet?

Pepsi, the Immortal flares a LOT even with a mild drill. Not sure about your rev rate or your tilt, but your ball speed is slow. UNless there's sufficient head & midlane oil, the 1000 grit surface PLUS the flare potential requires good oil. It's too easy to have this ball burn up early.

The Frankie MAy would be a better fit for your game & the conditions you have.

The Immortal series with its high diff, Falres alot and i think it will burn up too eraly for you.
I dont think you will get a early roll from the Immortal series as much as you would the Frankie May Gyrphon

pepsi,

Sent you a message explaining the difference between FM and Immortal Solid and agree that the FM may be the better choice.
