Title: Finally did it with VBP!!!

It took two bowling seasons but I finally had an honor score with Visionary.  I threw my third 300 tonight with the Ogre SS.  Which was fantastic with how bad I struggled in the first game.  I was using the Immortal Pearl at 2000 abralon.  The last four weeks I've been battling the shot and my own demons.  I came out of the gate with a hard fought 167 (3 splits)  The Immotal Pearl was just too much ball and I was forcing everything.  I then switched to the SS and had 247 and then 300.  I can't say enough about VBP and I can't wait to throw the New Breed.  Thank you Visionary!!!

Congratulations.

Nothing is more accomplishing then shooting a 300 after weeks of battling the demons.  Great job and best of luck to you in the future.

    Nice rolln' tommymo.

    One thought if you were forcing everything with the IP...I see the same with the NBP. Sometimes less is more.

    It really does feel good to make a ball change and actually have it work.  It normally doesn't happen that way. Especially after coming out of the gate struggling to get my feet under me.  Lately my demons have affected me, starting of the lanes and creeping in to my only night of bowling.  It's been hard to find my place when I am not able to get into competetive mode.  I was able, in the second game, to go "unconscious", if you will, and stop thinking.  Everything felt like I was on auto pilot get up, clean off ball, grip sack (my bowling one people), deep breath, set feet, see break point, GO!!! All the way up to the 10th frame, once I realized that no one was bowling.  Still I was able to repeat my routine with out forcing it, the only thing I needed was a few more deep breaths.
