Purple Ogre is one of the best if not the best ball per $. Sneaky strong.

The real answer depends on what you are going to bowl on and style. (Obviously )

The Ogre solid and/or the Ogre particle seem suited for your style: speed dominant, high revs.

The Immortal solid may also suit your purposes, with or without polish: very aggressive surface, medium-low RG, high flare and strong mass bias.

Guess I could have read more

All of the Ogre line is good stuff. Ogre Solid has found a way back in my back. Good consistent reaction.

Charlest, I would think that with the high revs, this may have a chance to roll out....at least that's what I remember from talking with Jason.

Best thing to do IMO with these very strong/high differential Visionary balls......if you have one and it works for you.  Put a piece of tape on your PAP and see when the ball flares, and if it stops flaring.  If it is flaring out prior to reaching your breakpoint.....then you can make educated layouts that may work for you.

The good thing about the Immortal and AMB cores, is that you arent drilling into any caps with your thumb, so it wont be affected as much by plugging and redrilling as many other strong mb balls.

Possibly, but his ball speed is rather high also. He may very well be able to use it.
Plus I wouldn't want to recommend such a pedestrian ball as the AMB Centaur solid. That's more for such fluffers as myself.

FYI Scott, I may be drilling that ball soon, as I am seeing a nice amount of oil on Fridays. The 1000 grit + polish FMG is not early enough. Left a bunch of 10 pins and 1/2/4s in practice on fresh oil Monday morning.
