Anyone know if...

Can this ball be polished? Should it be polished? If so with what?

How smooth is this ball (surface) out of the box?

Can it be "broken down" with a spinner?

Does this ball hook early on drier heads?

This ball is a polish eater! It will eat have a bottle of polish and you can just still feel the polish on the surface after a long time on the spinner. The coverstock is a Urethane base and gets a little shiney just from regular use but it's not the easiest ball to polish. if you do i found it best to use a particle polish.

ok out of box finish is 600 sand, or green pad. but green pad is best for it.

for spoty lanes it's good, but it needs some oil in the heads. good for when patterns break down.

I polished mine to try it on dryer heads than I have been using it on. I found that it got down the lane better but it made it very hard to control. After several games on different conditions I took it back to the spinner and wet sanded it back to 600 grit. Now I wash it in the sink with dish soap and scrub it with a green scouring pad after every use. I only use it when the shot is difficult and there is a lot of head oil. That is what this ball works well on.
