First night out with Mixed Breed Pearl
« on: June 29, 2012, 08:55:51 AM »
I finally got a change to drill up my MBP I got from Jason a month ago in Houston and I like it a lot. I am bowling in a summer PBA league and the shot last night was chameleon. I started out trying to swing the ball some but my speed had to be perfect and started out with 3 out of 6 splits. I then moved about 10 boards to right and was playing 12 out to about 7 and the ball smashed the pocket. I had the last 5 for a 186. I then shot 246 the second game without moving any the whole game. That was my first clean game and first 200 in this league so far after 3 weeks. The 3rd game I started out with the front 7 and ended with a 277 for a 706 series. I know that's not a huge series but for me on that lane condition, I was very happy. I moved my average up to 192 after 12 games. Not great, but OK for a PBA/Sport league.

I just liked the way the ball did not over react and the carry was great. I left two 10 pins all night.

Thanks to Jason for laying the ball out for me and to Fastrack Pro Shop in Allen fro drilling it!!

Thats great. Don't worry about the score. You are gonna find out that this ball is amasing. I thought that mine was rolling out. Just wasn't enough oil for it.
Good luck and many high scores with the Mixed Breed Pearl.

The Pearl is an Amazing ball.  first one out of my bag every night in every league.  Shame such a good ball is not getting as much pub as it deserves.

With most of the other ball companies releasing 3-4 new ball every couple of months, It is hard for the small guys to get noticed. Willie Wells tears up the High Roller with Visionary equipment. Others have done well too.
I've had people tell me that they didn't like how Visionary rolled. Funny thing was, I was beating them at the time. lol.
Visionary Bowling Products makes great balls. I feel that they should pour others too.

Not sure Jason would agree with you CH, as it is he seems to be busy enough just pouring their own balls!!
Poor guy talks on the phone with any and everyone, AND works out in the factory making the balls.  Still I am looking forward to their new release for this coming season and I got a open spot in the bag I am holding for it.
