roto balls versus visionary
« on: October 28, 2007, 08:25:13 AM »
I keep reading how strong visionary stuff is in oil. I have an odyssey and its ok but its no oiler and its the strongest thing i have . Its at 500 grit with pin under bridge drilling. I was playing on a shot today with extreme oob past 12. my odyssey just couldnt make the turn, but it was too strong for the middle. What ball if any would u guys recommend for a low speed low rev hand challenged bowler.

One suggestion I would have is the Purple Ice Executioner, though discontinued it appears that #14's are still available in Visionary's Store on their site.  Of course if you need 15 or 16 than would not be a good idea.  Sounds like your looking for a ball that moves but is not something that is too strong when you have it in some.  I have heard that low rev players particularly those that roll the ball vs spin have loved this ball.  It is an interesting ball and may work under out of bounds type conditions.  Right now Visionary offers some high flaring balls in the Imortals but I believe these balls if drilled strong may fly in the dry and not comeback in the oil, that being said in a high scoring condition with not much hand these ball will probably do the work for you and likely kick out many more of the corners.  In an ideal world if you could pick up an Ice Executioner I believe that would be perfect for your game.  Just one thought as there are several different possibilities!  Good Luck!
