Um, lol i guess i did forget a few things last night. I never changed the ball's surface.

my layout was 4 x 3 pin below ring finger, no weight hole.

but likely if this ball was attacked with some surface then yup it would close the gap.

I would like to see a strong resin dull cover, or even pearl particle in the gargoyle line.

I like the particle pearl idea.  That type of coverstock is what seems to work the best for me.  

I'm still looking for a little more buzz about the Violet Gargoyle.  It's one of three balls I'm considering right now.  I may buy two of them, but I'm not going to go for all three.

For the burgandy try rev leverage.

as for the violet. i squared it up against an AMF Titan, and an AMF velocity tonight.

the Violet is weaker in the oil, but less sensitive to dry.

overall smooth and nice, but has enough flip to carry.

i could see a stronger cover placed on this ball, or just a cover change, to increase the reaction greatly.

if you desprately need to fill the gap between violet and granite, why not try throwing some polish on another granite?
