I haven't heard much about this ball since the initial upraoar. I doubt whether we'll see aformal review in BTM of BJI, so ......
1. How did you drill yours?
2. WHat's your style: revs, ball speed, tilt, roatation?
3. On what type of oil patterns have you found it useful?
4. Between what other Visionary (or other brand) balls do you
place it?
I'm thinking it might handle oil like a Crimsom Executioner, but with a milder (read: less angular) backend, maybe more like the backend of the Ogre Pearl. But this is just a guess on my part.
(

please don't tell everyone it has an incredible backend if you put a 30/4/30 drilling on it and you have 450 rpms and 15 mph ball speed.

)
TIA

I guess nobody has drilled theirs yet?
I have one, but with my center closed until August, it probably will not be drilled anytime soon.

I should have mine drilled up by Friday but won't get to use it until Saturday.
Jason mentioned it may be possible to fit in between the Glad p and Crimson given there was enough gap.
For me my GP rolls early and rolls out some if there isn't enough head oil left on the lanes. The Crimson gets super length and picks up nice towards the end of the mid lane while saving a good deal of juice to finish strong. So I think for me it's possible to achieve this simply by using a slightly weaker layout on the LE.
Will let you know later...

I had posted this thread because A_P_K had asked me where it fit in his line-up (as he indicated above) and I had no good reply for him other than what we both saw here. I had seen no mention of it after the initial outburst and was curious.
While it should fit below the Gladiator Pearl, because it shares the same core with a weaker coverstock, the question is will it fit above his Crimson Exec or below it.
FYI I sold A_P_K my 16 lb Glad Pearl when I returned to 15 lb balls. He immediately shot and 83x something with it. It's a "nice" ball. I liked it enough for it to be one of the few I immediately purchased as a new 15 lb. Unfortunately I have been bowling on very light oil this year and have not been able to use mine. Been using a polished B/G Centaur which tells you how light the oil is where I'm bowling.

I still have mine , yes its for sale. I drilled mine pin in the ring finger and cg kicked out. its a 4 x 2 drill. it revs really hard on the front part and clears the heads with ease. But when it finds dry look out it turns the corner hard. Alot harder then i thought.
The downside of it, If you have any carrydown or no backends you need to put it away. Without some friction on the back it will just back up on you.
I would say mine fit inbetween my G3 & Ogre Pearl. Howver i wanted it to be a dry lane ball but it didnt work for me.
If anyone is interested in it let me know. it is listed in the for sale section.
