This is only my trial and my opinion but I managed to buy a used Immortal Pearl from my driller.
The layout on the ball was pin over the ring finger, about two inches above the finger line with the CG kicked out a little. This put the non marked MB right of the thumb.
The surface of the ball was 2000 plus polish.
I tried this ball on medium oil, probably a little less than true medium with slightly dry outsides. The length was a little long not sure how though. The ball rolled out terribly, the flare rings were almost two inches apart and it covered about six or so inches of the cover. I threw two shots then got rid of the ball.
I don't understand the nature of the Immortal Pearl, seems like a weak cover and a seriously over powered core. For me it's not useful on lighter or heavier oils. But I imagine the right surface and layout on the solid would be very good.
