New Breed Particle Pearl
« on: June 14, 2011, 03:42:08 AM »
Found one of these at the salvation army for 3 bucks.
The ball looks brand new. I have never thrown VBP
before. So should I expect a down n in kinda shot with it?

You got a deal for $3

If you sand it @ 1000k or lower it will handle a bit of oil and polished it has a nice backend. The box finish is 2000k sanded and works well on medium oil. Very smooth and predictable. You can use it either up the boards or down and in. If you have hand, you can even swing it a bit, but it's not really that kind of ball.

Sounds like it will complement my Siege nicely. Cool thanks for the reply.

Nice find! Mine is drilled with the pin just above and to the right of the RF (righty) and the cg in directly below. It can be used on a lot of different oil patterns with simple surface adjustments. If I was drilling a new one, I'd go cg in palm and pin right of RF hole. I can't go below 1000 without having to add polish. You will like this ball.
