Gonna drill my Ogres...
« on: July 17, 2009, 10:36:50 AM »
I picked up a used SS, Solid, and Particle that I'm finally getting to drill this evening.  The pin of the SS is longest at 4", the Solid is at 3", and the Particle is at 2.5".

I was thinking about drilling them similar and let the coverstock dictate the different reactions.

Here's the latest video I made so you'll know how I throw.

My pap is 5" over, 1" up.

What do you think of 4 x 4 with the pin in or near ring?  Are the Ogres better suited for a different layout?

lefty you kinda throw like i do i might have a few more revs but not many more and I'm a righty . my pap is 5 1/2 and 1/8 up. i don't have the solid but my ss is drilled 5 by 4 no weighthole 3 1/4 inch pin it goes long and snaps (on light oil) pin is 1/2 inch from ring finger at 1 o'clock. i would say drill it stacked. i have a particle but not drilled yet as i still throw my granite gargoyle (600 grit finish). it has a 2 inch pin and drilled pin under bridge cg out 45 deg weighthole near pap in the mid line its my fresh med heavy ball. i think the coverstocks of the orge particle and the granite are the same but different finishes. this may not be any help but thought i would pass it along
