Good Scores???
« on: September 15, 2008, 12:41:51 AM »
Who's been rollin' some good scores with Visionary equipment so far this new fall season?

I haven't put together a great set yet but like what I see with the Blurple and Solid Gladiator.  269 so far.

What ya got to report????  Like to hear how others are doing.  Where from?  Lane conditon?  League or tourney?

Now's the time to crow about your bowling prowess.

I will say I had a nice 6 pin increase in average over the summer playing around with all the new stuff.  This between normal league at 219 and my Youth/Adult with my son (219 as well) where I actually threw my first sanctioned 300 with the Blurple.

Right now, I am liking everything I have in the bag!!

Nothing special, but so far Ive been averaging around 205 with the the 2 AMB centaurs. Its up 15 pins from last season so Im happy. I think PBA patterns helped it some, though.

Well as of Yesterday I've had good scores with my new InSite Second Coming and InSite SuperNatural. They are basically Visionary bowling balls, same covers different cores, Visionary made them for Mark Russo.

I have started slow this year, just started to carry Visionary products, but last week the Ogre pearl I sold was high in the league, and another guy shot 275 with the Gladiator Solid I drilled him.

I bought an Ogre Pearl before the beginning of league and put about 9 games on it.

So far this year:
768 and 696 in my Monday night league.  I averaged 215 last year so this is a great start.

691 on Thursday (I averaged 232 last year is the IS) and I am subbing tonight for a friend and plan on using it.

I am very impressed with this ball.  I have an Immortal Solid (I used a lot last year) as well but have not needed it due to the strengths of this ball so far.

I bought a Gladiator solid back in July and had it drilled at the end of August.I was not real happy with it.My thinking was it had an asymetrical core, and i don't like asym. cores in my bowling balls.

This ball has proved me wrong. My last two series has been 700 and 727.This ball is the best in carry that i have used in 4 years.

The Glad. solid works best on a medium oiled ths.I own several Visionary balls and the Glad. solid along with the Ogre pearl will handle any shot.Great stuff Visionary.

Even though it's an asymmetric.....the MB differential is nothing like most asymmetric's.  The Gladiator's great quality is that they are very smooth off the break point for most bowlers.  The same quality that the Char Ex has/had.

Great shooting tog831.

Put some more games on my Glad Pearl today in practice. VERY easy to control, especially off the breakpoint. Started playing out but was able to move in as the shot broke down and still had a great reaction.

Had a 279 with it on Sunday in league.

Also got to see Charlest's Orange Warlock in action today, very sweet rolling ball.

Got a bud that's been hitting them real good with a SS.  He raised his average 20 pins and has a few 260+ games.

Man that ball is damn sweet.
