Good Scores???
« on: September 15, 2008, 12:41:51 AM »
Who's been rollin' some good scores with Visionary equipment so far this new fall season?

I haven't put together a great set yet but like what I see with the Blurple and Solid Gladiator.  269 so far.

What ya got to report????  Like to hear how others are doing.  Where from?  Lane conditon?  League or tourney?

Now's the time to crow about your bowling prowess.

Not a 700 or even a really big game but, the first time out with my FMG that I picked up from Trimman.  257-235-191 683.  Lanes were pretty oily and it carrried down for the 3rd game.  The second game included an 8-10 split in the 10th frame.

Can't roll with the big dogs around here, but tonight shot my first 700 of the season with my Granite Gargoyle. 247, 224, 247. Such a smooth, hard-arcing beast! We had a soupy shot tonight and the Granite just walked into the 1-3 all night destroying the rack! Makes me wonder why I got away from this ball?

'Bout time for that good series to come rolling in!!

As for why you got away from the Granite.....it's like having a GF and going to the strip joint.....you know your gonna get some.....just a matter of the flavor for the night!!  In other words.....tooooooo many toys to play with in all the Visionary equipment you've got!!  LOL!!

Shot 256, 256, 227 with the New Breed Solid tonight. Played a straight down-n-in shot up the 8 board all night and carry was phenomenal. Think I found the strong solid reactive ball I've been looking for! Awesome job Jason and company!!! New Breed Pearl will be the next ball to find it's way into my bag.

767 today with the Crimson. Looking forward to drilling another SS, I liked my first one quite a bit, but I am looking forward to putting a bit stronger drilling on my new one.

Keep up the great bowling guys.

Tonite as a sub in a mixed league, I had a 230, 259 and 233 for a 722 with the New Breed pearl.  A nice rolling ball with good carry.

Been struggling mightily on my Tuesday league.  The shot, even though it's second shift after a women's league, usually starts off decent.  But I die as the shot breaks down and I have to move in.  There's no oil/hold inside and the outsides are already beat up.  I threw a coat of polish on the B/G Centaur figuring I could at least stay outside or near the track the whole night.  Wish I would have thought of it earlier.  266-185-267 for 718.  First game was the front 9 with a pocket 7-10.  Middle game was no carry.  4 pin, another pocket 7-10, a few more 4's and a 10 or two.  Finally got lined up again the last game.  A few single pins and another 9 in a row.  I've only thrown the Centaur about 6 weeks total, but I've had at least 9 in a row 4 or 5 times.  I can't even remember why I took it out of the bag.
