How does this ball compare to the current Ogre Line.
I love my Burple Ogre , I just bought a GG on ebay and i am curious how it will compare to other current VBP balls.

I don't have the Ogre SS, but someone experienced in Vis balls (can't recall how right now) said the GG was similar to the Ogre SS, but had more length and handled less oil. The GG had been for me an incredibly flippy, all but uncontrollable backend when I first got one. I drilled it 4x4, stacked under the ring finger. Got rid of it and bought a 2nd one and put the pin left of the middle finger (I am right handed) and CG in the grip center. That was more controllable for me.
My current GG has the pin over the center of the bridge and the CG kicked way out plus a weight hole in an attempt to make the backend earlier and more controllable. It is. (almost too controllable.
no happy medium.)

what he said! My SS replaced my old Green Gargoyle. SS handles more oil and gives me a little bit earlier break with a small mid lane read

Yes, I was.

The Ogre SS seems more controllable and harder hitting also, while still having a very hard hit, Visionary hard.

The SS is one of the better hitting balls that I have thrown in years. Makes me look like I have some hand in the ball

Seriously, my carry % goes a notch up when I am able to use it, mostly on lesser mediums.
I had a GG drilled pretty much the same as my SS. GG was longer through the mids and turned harder off the dry. The SS is more "rolly" in nature while still turning the corner with a readable reaction (for me). On the conditions they are intended for, I can get deep with both, but I carry better with the SS than I did with the Greenie.

Yes I also have both balls GG and SS. The SS Ogre is my go to ball, got into VBP because of the Greenie(found one on the rack at my local center). The SS is just so controllable And carries so well I think I'll get another!

MC, I believe that's what charlest was saying

But I'm assuming he was refering to GG in this statement
Hence, my original statement: "What he said". I was only putting my experience out there to show it was the same as yours and his.
