Gladiator...
...and a Gladiator Pearl...
Pretty balls. I personally like the looks of the solid more, but that's just me.

I was thinking you had seen something good like the Glowing (Yellow) Amulet.

Hey RevTrex,
Do me a favor, and shoot me an email. Don't worry, you didn't do anything wrong, just would like to ask you a couple questions about who had the balls, because we have only sent the pearl version out to three places and there really shouldn't be any public access to it yet. I think I know where you saw it, and it is fine, but I would like to ask you anyway, just to be safe.
Thanks,
Jason

bought one 4 years ago used, had it drilled and proceeded to shoot 675 the first time I used it. Seemed a little light; took it back to my driller. Turned out to be 14 lbs instead of 15 lbs. I allowed that to mess with my mind and I could never use it again. Sold it as a spare ball. EVen back then there were no more around.
The Slate Blue's reaction is so different from the Yellow Amulet.

Just curious, how different is the reaction between the 2?

Quite a bit! The Glowing Amulet with a fairly strong drill has about the same reaction in the dry as fairly week drilled SBG! The SBG is surprisingly very strong off the dry boards! GA is drilled pin to the left of the ring finger - I am lefty - and CG kicked in. The SBG pin is below the ring finger and kicked out - even with this layout with my style I find the gargoyle seems stronger particularly off the dry boards. For The GA The core is the inner portion of the Gargoyle with a larger spherical wrap. What I have seen is the GA as a solid seems to be able to handle more oil than the SBG however the backend is actually more smoother than the SBG. I can't believe they discontinued it hopefully they bring it back one of the most interesting bowling balls ever made!
